The challenge
The realization
To make the diverse possibilities of Siemens Industrial Edge tangible, we developed the digital twin of a factory plant in a real-time 3D application. This digital twin application enabled us to visualize the various use cases and their networking using a real production environment with various machines, a control room and the corresponding server room. This immersive presentation makes it possible to offer customers a hands-on experience and immerse them in the world of Industrial Edge. The interactivity of the application made it possible to experience and understand the functionality and benefits of the technology at first hand.
The result
This application makes it possible to understand the many seemingly intangible or difficult-to-imagine networks of a digital twin in practice. In addition, all the advantages and features of Siemens Industrial Edge are perfectly illustrated and made tangible. The Digital Twin App can be played at trade fairs, on websites and on end devices, ensuring a broad reach. In addition, a specially developed content management system (CMS) was implemented, which enables our customers to easily maintain the Digital Twin application and dynamically update content. This combination of a compelling application and a user-friendly CMS makes it possible to present Industrial Edge effectively and convince potential prospects.
